Years ago when “Take it to the house” came out and was a huge hit, I was listening to it the one day and my Mom looked at my sister and I and said “What exactly are they taking to the house?”
hahahaha….
my mom has recently discovered the word ‘boo’ and now calls all of her loved ones that.
My mother still says that everything is the “bomb” LET IT GO MOM!
LOL
perfect.
I don’t like “Shorty” either. It’s so…..generic, and not even nice in an “I mean that in the nicest way possible” kind of way. Shortsighted more like!
Honey, Ahhhh Sugar Sugar,…….
My dad just picked up the phrase ‘word’ from ‘Flavor or Love’ and uses it in daily conversation with me:
“Dad, what time are you going to be up here?”
“About 6 o’clock.”
“They’re doing construction up here so you might want to give yoruself some extra time.”
“Word.”
That reminds me of when my mom heard the song Bootylicious. She said “What does poke my jelly mean?” And instead of No Doubt she called them In Doubt. I love her she cracks me up.
And my dad uses “That’s how I roll”, “Blowing up my phone”, and “Bling”
